Master Theses Program
All master's theses are an important part of Axis product
development and research. You will notice that you are part of a
hothouse of creative solutions. Every good idea will draw attention,
both economically and with respect to support. Of course, you must
be ambitious and able to take responsibility for your project.
Benefits:
We can offer you a dedicated computer, Internet access, nice
companionship in our premises and free access to the in-house
knowledge. We provide circuit boards and prototypes if required.

| Meet a former thesis student |
 My name is Martina and I did my master thesis work at Axis during the
autumn of 2006. The task was to develop a License Plate Recognition
algorithm and implement it in an Axis camera.
The supervisors at Axis were very helpful and if there was something
they could not answer someone else in the building always could.
Furthermore, Axis' master thesis students always get an invitation to
monthly meetings and happenings, which makes you feel like a part of the
company.
As a student at Lund University, LTH, I studied Technical Mathematics
and I found the courses in Image Analysis very interesting. This is why
Axis was a natural choice for my master thesis. When I was offered a
permanent position in the Imaging Competence group, it was easy for me
to accept it.
I have now worked at Axis for some time and have developed my skills
within imaging, sensors and cameras considerably. My work is very
satisfying and Axis, as a company, is distinguished by openness with a
good atmosphere among the employees. Without any doubts, my work at Axis
will be both developing and enjoyable!

Limitations:
Before you apply for the announced theses, please note the
following. Theses are open only to students affiliated with a
Swedish university either directly or via an exchange program. All
thesis positions are in Lund, Sweden.
Application:
Applications are accepted in Swedish or English and should be
sent to exjobb@axis.com.
Please, respect the following requirements:
- Applications shall explicitly define which thesis it
concerns.
- Attachments, if any, shall be in a non-proprietary format
and preferably in any of the MIME types text/plain, text/html or
application/PDF.
- Where the thesis comprises two students, the application
shall include two students. We do not try to match single
applicants for these proposals.
It is desired although not a requirement, that your application
contains:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- University grade summary
- A written report, preferably in English, from a project
course.

Summer Jobs
Every summer we employ a number of vacation workers. Most of the
temporary positions are suitable for students studying at a
technical university/college.
